Yuri's Night is an international celebration held every April 12 to commemorate milestones in space exploration. It is named for the first human to launch into space, Yuri Gagarin, who flew the Vostok 1 spaceship on April 12, 1961.
The Ethiopian Space Science Society, in collaboration with the Space Generation Advisory Councel and Russian Center for Science and Culture has prepared this event for everyone interested in the exploration of space. The Event takes place in the Russian Center for Science and Culture (Pushkin Center) infront of Lideta Catholioc Cathedral School . Programme Starts on 7:30 Local Time.
Photo exhibitions, scientific presentations and Short Movie about the russian space programme are going to be held in the event.
